Karen is an experienced pianist with many years of experience playing for playgroups, kinders, primary schools and churches. Her background is in the Arts and she completed her piano prac. and theory exams as an adult. She has a keen interest in developing musicality and the love of music in all students, regardless of age and considers learning music enhances many aspects of a person's life. Karen continues to play in ensembles as she has done for over 30 years and mentors young musicians in ensemble playing, and she participates in many professional development opportunities.
She's been teaching piano part time for more than 10 years and is comfortable teaching children, teenage and adult students.
